Since I am not eyeballs deep in schoolwork just yet and still have free time some of it has been lovingly dedicated to watching cartoons from my childhood. In watching these cartoons I have noticed that current tv shows are not cartoons like they claim. Instead the TV of today is total crap. CG cartoons do not count especially when they are all teaching you a different language. What happened to mind numbing television for when you are just to tired of school and life to learn any more. I have no problems with children knowing 5 languages before they are 10 years old but they need to have a break sometime. What happened to the days of cartoons that were filled with innuendos that parents could laugh at and kids could wonder about for the next week. I want to see eyeballs popping out of characters heads until they are bigger than their entire body, characters that cant exist in normal life, cartoons that are all animals or creatures forget cartoons of children WHO CARES WHAT MANNY FIXES TODAY?! not me! I want to see the angel and devil on each shoulder both be bad, there were not ethical cartoon angels when I was a kid. I just watched a baseball go through a hammer head sharks right eye and straight through to the left, where is the pain that used to come with cartoons? *sigh* I guess I am left finding them on dvd because there is nothing worth while spending time doing nothing to. So for now I listen to Bev Big Head talk like an old black lung smoking diner waitress and think of the good old days of real cartoons :)
