Feverishly Arting.

While waiting to get a call back from someone who needs a new employee it seems my brain has had a creative explosion. I can't seem to stop making things and if I do stop I get quite twitchy and sad. I learned how to spin my own yarn a few months ago thanks to my Aunt and a woolly mountain expo of all sorts of wooly hair and animals. So far I have made two things out of my own woolly yarns. A headband for my aunt who helped me get started and a small scarf for a friend.

My Aunt and her new headband.

A close up.

I cant seem to find a full image at the moment but this is the beginning of the scarf.

I have also been just crocheting other things to keep myself occupied. AKA Christmas presents..

Penguin mittens and headband for Jess
I can do these things because my friends have no time to read such trivial madness as what I am or not doing all day because they are super busy so woop!

Pink things for Casey to match last years pink things I made her.

Tiny mittens for Ange :)

I also bake a bunch now and send the extra into work with my father so he meets a bunch of people since he was new to the base. This has lead to being told I need to open a bakery, but lets be honest I don't have the patience to have that much stress. Here are some things I baked... and upcoming Christmas plans. I wanted to send in Christmas cookies for the people so I found cheap kinda festive containers but as I stared at them more and more my crazy brain decided they were not actually festive enough and I had to fix it or the world would crack and end around me. So I made disk shaped doodles for the tops and a cartoon for inside.

Cinnamon Buns
Whoopie Pies

Not as festive as I originally thought...

Cartoon for the inside of lid "Merry Christmas to all who keep us safe" with an A-10 flying past Santa.

First doodle of the postman from "year without a Santa Claus"

Hermie the elf and Yukon Cornelius

The Heat mieser and Snow mieser fighting.

The Grinch and Cindi-loo-who

Charlie Brown and his Christmas tree.

And finally... this masterpiece of a man on a warthog body pulling Santa's sleigh with A-10 engines and the reindeer and presents in the back.

this is what they will look like together... MUCH MORE FESTIVE! YAY COLORS!

The cartoon will go under the lid so that it is not all crazy madness a subtle under the lid thank you to our troops. :)

I ended up liking them so much I rather want a set of my own ... but it is a lot of tedious work so we shall see i guess.
